After a brief hiatus of nearly a week's duration, knitting has resumed:
The back of otto is on the blocking board:
I am making great progress on the left front, after it languished with only about an inch completed. I am now up past the armhole shaping and into the neck shaping as well:
I am eager for knitting time, at least whenever my hands are not sticky from the heat, or I am not running around repositioning buckets to stop the drips raining down around the chimney.
The roof will get fixed next time it is sunny long enough for things to dry out. The leaks are marked and the problem assessed. To many men and too much brick and concrete sat on my shingled roof for there to be no problems.
Thursday should provide unsticky knitting time, although you may find it easier to float down the Taconic by that point.
