The back is finished and I am have reached the second armhole opening:
- Purl:1. To knit with a reverse stitch. 2. Thread made of twisted gold or silver wire. 3. To flow with a curling or rippling motion as a shallow stream does over stones.

beautiful! I saw my first Mermaid irl yesterday at a yarn shop. A bit fuzzier and duller in color than I expected, but otherwise, it was impressive. The color varies, of course.
