I decided to knit a baby hat. I had one skein of a superwash wool. Surely it would be enough.
Almost:
Although there may have been enough yarn to gather the remaining six stitches, there was not enough to suitably anchor the end and no one wants a hat unraveling on their baby.
Luckily I found something close enough in the lone-ball-bin and the job was finished.
Darling little hat! Don't you just hate it when you come that close to being done and have just inches of yarn?
