• Purl:
    1. To knit with a reverse stitch. 2. Thread made of twisted gold or silver wire. 3. To flow with a curling or rippling motion as a shallow stream does over stones.

  • Random murmurings on knitting, with occasional digressions, by an oblivious dreamer who finds herself tripping through life. For more projects, check out my sewing blog as well.

I love that Cynthia Steffe sheath! and the 8623 jacket! I'm trying to get my sewing machine out for wherever and see if I can remember how to thread it, just so I can sew either side of the steeks I'm going to cut soon in my Fair Isle sweater. Steeks -- eek! A long way from that to ever sewing Vogue patterns again but someday, I hope. Meanwhile, I get to watch you and it's pretty inspiring!

I have the top three in my basket right now, at $5.99, plus two Marfy patterns.
Why do I not find it surprising that you've just received the ones I put in my basket?
